My first English group in Malta!

It finally happened; my first face to face group session in this business!

After a few years of only doing groups online, I’d been looking at setting one up in Malta for a while. Finally, after marketing Facebook groups and Instagram, I managed to organise four international students to meet me in a local cafe in the capital, Valletta. I felt so proud of myself for managing to complete another business goal!

I divided the first hourly session into two halves: a get to know speaking and writing activity so that my students could feel more comfortable with each other and then a personal favourite, phrasal verbs! The hour flew by as my students got to know each other and exchanged personalised examples of the target vocabulary (three part phrasal verbs) while I moved around the tables giving them instant error correction and feedback. I can’t wait for the next session!
